We are delighted to be part of the activation event aimed at celebrating the incoming Paris Olympics and Paralympic games. A Come and Try session were oragnised on the 15th of June at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Hall. First a quick welcome by Carolyn Toh of Badminton NSW followed by a short introducton to the badminton game basic by Keith and Stephanie. In no time, some particpants are playing games among themselves. Unfortunately fun time comes to an end but not badminton, as everyone got presented with their free complimentary tickets and rush off to watch the Australian Open Quarter Final just a few blocks up the road. Special thanks to Sophie Marc for rounding up the participants in such short notice.
